Dear Rock Angel
New adult contemporary romance (not spicy) set in London and inspired by my own wild rock era.

Hello everyone welcome to another post. If you are new here my name is Annaliese and I bring magic into real life. Today I have another fictional post, snippets from a new ongoing series, but if you enjoy my work please subscribe to my newsletter and be sure to check out my books and the Moon Telegrams.
New Paragraph
Ophelia here, ruling sorcerer of Tabatha Town. I write the weekly newspaper for the town from my home, the Bell and Paper Library. However, my furry flying PI's, the Tinklepinks (who live in Tangerine Woods just behind my library) talked me into sharing occasional posts about our fantastical world to the Ordinary Side, so humans can read them. My goal has always been for humans and magical beings to live together as one and this seems a perfect way to initiate contact. Maybe one day the portal separating our sides will flow freely, but for now and in the months ahead, enjoy learning more about Tabatha Town, my fellow sorcerers, the letters I respond to from the Ordinary Side and how I ended up ruling this place from being a young girl in high school, West London.
From page two of The Tabatha Tribune newspaper, please meet herbalist sorcerer and tea connoisseur, Mrs Tada.
Mrs Tada has opened her first and only tea shop Mystic Leaves . Open now on Pearly Main Street!
Creating and selling traditional and custom teas, elixirs PLUS tea leaf readings (from only 10 Gikba)
Mrs Tada looks forward to serving you and your future
Earlier this week, I visited Mrs Tada at Mystic Leaves. I asked for a tea leaf reading to see if the leaves held any advice for me about a puzzling situation I am currently trying to solve in Tabatha Town. Up to press, my own investigations into it have not been able to give me answers, only more questions. Having not experienced a tea leaf reading before, my own powers usually afford me enough magical hoo-ha, I didn’t know what to expect or if her findings would be helpful.
However, later that afternoon, Mrs Tada with her strands of beads, chiffon scarves and patchwork tablecloths, did not disappoint. Describing aspects unnervingly well of my former association both with London and Dracon Hall here in Tabatha Town demonstrated her talent. She told me certain things she could not have known and, therefore, I have no reason to doubt the rest of the reading. It contained an unusual message. One I believe to be a warning, not an incoming blessing.
The leaves had formulated in separate patterns on either side of my cup and the shapes they made kept changing. These configurations, she told me, resembled living or animal beings. They kept switching and flipping from one side to the other side of the cup. Mrs Tada, as she read the leaves, was unclear if it was the same being (or shape) which kept changing or if it was two different ones. Regardless, Mrs Tada, sat convinced her finding was an answer to my current concerns surrounding Tabatha Town. More to follow as I move forward with this new information.
I felt it had an untrusting vibe, one I don’t like. Something or someone is not quite who we believe them to be. Could we have a spy in town? Keep your senses and powers alerted and, as always, you can report anything strange or unusual to me, or my library apprentice, Emmaline.
